A little delicate but very nice

"Love paper piecing? These are for you - so many possibilities. The inside outline pieces are easily bent even using 120lb paper. Using smooth cutting plates (eg., not ones with lots of cutlines) would be helpful for that. Precision plate would be ideal to use when cutting. Wanted to try double sided adhesive sheets for the cut pieces but wasn’t sure if it would cut through cleanly enough. Made 25 of these pretty easily by putting 1/4” double-sided tape on the base piece (tape does not go all the way to the edge of the base piece), taking off the top covering of the tape, gluing the outline down, then immediately popping the little pieces inside."

Difficulty cutting

"I like the design of these dies, but they seem kind of dull. I tried them with different sandwiches, with a shim, without a shim, with a metal plate, and with different kinds of paper. I even tried them with Tim Holtz watercolor stock like Cathy Zielske used in her video, and I just could not get a reliably clean cut, even after running it through 3 or 4 times. Frustrating, because the frames are vey thin. I want to love these, but I dont."
