"I bought my first one in white in 2014 from my then local Scrapbooking Store where the owner introduced me to Tim Holtz. "I ordered this one to replace a gift I received. I liked my gift a lot but was only able to use it 3 times because it stopped dead in its tracks. Could not contact the vender because I didn't know who sold it. I liked it enough to want to replace it so I did. I like this as well. It dries my art without cracking my mediums and is fairly quiet. I received this one in the mail so fast I wasn't expecting it so soon, I belive in just two days. Thank you Simon."
"We (my spouse and I) have only used this art tool an half dozen times to date. We like the size and how quiet it is while in use. The hot air dries watercolor paintings quickly and evenly. The only reason we are giving it 4 stars rather than 5 stars is because each of the times we have used the tool, it smokes a tiny bit at the start. We suspect the tool just needs to burn off newer solvent that could have been used in assembly. Time will tell. Otherwise, it is a good unit. Our art instructor vouched for it after her long time use. She encouraged us to buy one. If you are thinking of doing the same, beware that many online vendors (such as Amazon.ca) are selling the UK version rather than the US one. Make sure you purchase the correct one for the country you live in. Otherwise it may not be compatible with your electric system (outlets) if you don't."

"I watched Tim Holtz using this in a live and explaining the difference between a heat tool and embossing gun. So glad I bought this. It is a nice small size and works beautifully. Yes - if you can fund it having both this and the embossing tool is ideal. I have used it to remove adhesive stickers from things, take stamps off of envelopes, dry inks quickly for layering … and so on!"
