Awesome ephemera to add to your collages/cards
"This is a set of clear/translucent butterflies in assorted sizes. You can easily bend them for a more 3D effect, and they stay in position as long as you aren't flattening them into an envelope. I prefer to attach them using glue lines, which are sort of like glue dots, only in 1/2 inch strips. I have never had them budge using this method. Because they are made of acetate, I would not recommend liquid glues (even book binding glue).I should think you could use glue dots as well, but the lines are the perfect size to fit down the body of the insect so they are not visible once adhered. I have used them with floral collages, as art doll wings, for enhancing a Gothic Lolita headdress (alternative J-fashion), and even on my bulletin board in my classroom to great effect. So far I've noticed no fading or other discoloration, even after a year of use."
