For gluing cardstock layers I still prefer the original Gina K Connect glue, tho this matte glue works, but I did have to hold layers together longer before they stuck down. On one of her lives, I heard Gina K mention that as well—that she likes the matte for embellishments and dies and uses the OG Connect glue for her layers. I agree! Still, it’s a fabulous glue."

"I have been looking and hoping for a no-show glue for DECADES! There is hardly a glue I haven't tried and my go-to has been GKD Connect for a long time now. I was ecstatic when I heard there was a matte version! Yay Gina! Right off the bat I accidentally blopped out a big dollop of glue onto green cardstock. I wiped it off and it took about one shade of color off the cardstock. Since that was a one-off accident I didn't worry about that being a problem, and it hasn't been. If it seeps out, it really doesn't show unless you get out your light and magnifier! It's wonderful for gluing stacked words. My cards have most definitely taken a step up now that the glue is virtually invisible! I will say that it's a bit thinner and less grippy than the original Connect. I've had some issues with pieces falling off because I didn't really put a lot on. In fairness, my house is pretty chilly in the winter and all glue usually works better when it's warmer, so I'll have to judge that better in the coming months. Overall, I think it's one of those game-changing inventions everybody will come to depend on. Thank you, Gina K! ❤️"
