Paper Artsy Blank Tissue Paper includes 4 sheets, each approximately 30 x 20 inches, offering a versatile surface that can even be stamped on for added creative detail. To create soft 'tear' lines, use a wet paintbrush along the edge of the tissue. The tissue can be glued, melted onto wax, or adhered to fabric and then sewn for added texture.
For application, Matte Glaze is the preferred glue. This liquid glue/sealant dries to a matte finish, making it ideal for use with tissue paper. Due to the tissue's fragility when wet, two methods are recommended:
1. Apply glaze liberally to the surface, gently smooth the tissue onto it, and avoid vigorous brushing to prevent tearing. Once dry, apply a second coat of glaze for extra durability.
2. Coat one side of the tissue with Matte Glaze, let it dry, then flip and apply glue to the other side. After drying, apply an additional layer of Matte Glaze to reinforce the tissue before attaching it to a journal page.
For a tinted effect, PaperArtsy Matte-Tints (tinted matte glazes) are perfect for use with these tissues, adding a unique color touch to your projects.
