Paper Artsy Script Printed Tissue offers high-quality images in various combinations and sizes, perfectly complementing existing stamp collections. The permanent black ink allows you to add color to the back or front of the tissue before adhering it. For soft 'tear' lines, a wet paintbrush is recommended. You can use glue, melted wax, or adhere it to fabric and then sew for added texture. The set includes 4 sheets, each approximately 30 x 20 inches, featuring collages of illegible text, ledger entries, seal marks, ink splats and signatures.
For application, Matte Glaze is the preferred glue. It's a liquid glue/sealant that dries with a matte finish. Due to the tissue's fragility when wet, two methods are recommended:
1. Liberally apply glaze to the receiving surface, and gently smooth the paper onto it. Avoid vigorous brushing to prevent tearing. Apply a second coat of glaze once dry.
2. Apply Matte Glaze to one side of the image, let dry, then flip and apply glue to the other side. Once dry, apply more Matte Glaze for additional strength before gluing it onto a journal page.
Additionally, PaperArtsy matte-tints, tinted matte glazes, are perfect for use with Printed Tissues.
