The Simon Says Stamp Craft Tacky Mat is the perfect companion for cardmaking! It is a double sided tacky surface to hold paper in place while stamping or ink-blending.

Measuring 8.25 x 6.25 inches (sized to conveniently fit inside the original stamp positioning tool). it replaces the foam spacers inside the original tool. The 1/4 inch grid marks on the backside of the Craft Tacky Mat (including A2 and A7 markings) will help you align cardstock and die-cuts with precision.

The top acetate sheet can be left on the Craft Tacky Mat when the tacky surface isn’t needed inside your stamp positioning tool and helps with easy clean up. In addition, the top acetate sheet can be replaced with our Pawsitively Perfect Placement Guides: Large Mat and Transparency (st0130, sold separately) for a more durable surface with colorful and easy-to-see markings.

The mat can also be used outside of your stamp positioning tool for holding your surface in place while you ink blend or stencil! Simply remove the acetate sheet front and back and place it on a non-porous surface. Use our Stamp and Stencil Mat (st0128, sold separately) on top of it if you prefer bolder grid marks (especially helpful with 6x6 inch stencils).

To clean, wipe the surface with a damp, lint-free cloth. We recommend Simon Says Stamp Ultra Clean products and the Pawsitively Perfect Microfiber Cleaning Cloth (st0152, sold separately).

Ink staining is normal and will not affect the functionality of the Pawsitively Perfect Craft Tacky Mat. To preserve its tacky surface, be sure to reapply the acetate front and back when not in use.  If needed, run under warm soapy water to remove any lint or paper fibers, and dry immediately before storing.

Tacky Mat

"Great to use in the Misti. I removed everything from my Misti and placed my tacky mat in it. As soon as I’m doe with a card I replace the cover on it, so that it remains dust free."

I love my Craft Tacky Mat

"I use it always to do stenciling and it is perfect. I washed it yesterday for the first time to “revive” the sticky and will use it o today to do my stenciling."

Sticky mat

"I wish I had got this sticky mat sooner. Love it. Works for me"

Lynda W. (5/5)

Gel pad

"Not as useful as I thought it would be. It's similar to my gel pad. I don't have a large area to work on so the gel pad is just one more surface item for me to deal with. The quality is good as you would expect from Simon. The tackiness is just right for holding my card bases in place, but it's not an item that I couldn't live without."

The tack on this mat

"The tack on this mat is the perfect amount. The grid lines are great because the lines are quarter inch increments. Love that. I don’t have to guess where the half , or three quarters inch is. Really like the black and white print, it’s not distracting. Very reasonable price too."

Tacky mat

"I think it could be a little more sticky. It moves in my Misti so I have to stick it down with painters tape or washi tape. Orthorhombic than that it is good. I also bought a bigger one and put it on my work station and use it for when I do stenciling. That works well"

Simon Says Craft Tacky Mat

"Holds paper well, makes it easy to work on small pieces. I have trouble getting a clear image with Cling Rubber stamps so I placed a stamp, red side up on the mat to hold the stamp. I placed the paper on top of the stamp to get a clearer image. The back of the stamp stuck to the mat. Pressed too hard? Not an advertised use and it didn’t work well. Won’t be doing that again."

Nice Sticky Mat

"I needed a mat to hold my card in place while ink blending and working with pastes. This mat works well for both. I did find it difficult to remove the heavy acrylic side with the printed grid. It's a good size and is just sticky enough!"

Karen M. (4/5)

Essential equipment

"This mat is even better than the waffleflower mat because it holds better, for longer and cleans up easily. You can see the lines clearly and can line things up without difficulty. It holds your paper down very well but doesnt tear it and is perfect for stencilling. It holds the stencil plastic perfectly."

It is very tacky, and

"It is very tacky, and so far have had good success using for stenciling"
