The Spellbinders Glimmer II Hot Foil System US Version makes it easy to add elegant foiled accents to cards and other papercraft projects. The updated Glimmer II features a streamlined, dockless design with all-over even heating for improved foiling results. Audible beeps and ready lights provide easy-to-follow status updates, while the magnetic charging cable attaches directly to the platform and disconnects when it is time to run the foiling sandwich through a die cutting machine. An automatic shutoff turns the system off after 15 minutes of inactivity.

To use, heat the platform with the chosen plate on top and wait for the ready alert. Disconnect the magnetic charging cable, place foil shiny side down and paper over the plate, then cover with the Spacer Pad and Thin Shim before running the sandwich through a compatible die cutting machine. Glimmer II can also be used to add foiled designs to materials including fabric, ribbon, and leather.
